Our Sardinian Road Trip: Part I

Deciding to go to Sardinia was entirely Brady's idea. I'm not even going to pretend to take the credit for that one. I may have booked the nice hotels but he found plane tickets, a rental car and planned our route.

For the last two years, we have gone to Cuba following April exams to de-stress, enjoy the sun and be near the ocean. This year we didn't go to Cuba (obviously) but I think we found our new favourite place.

Sardinia is a little island in the Mediterranean which is technically a part of Italy. This island has literally everything you could want. Amazing food (we are talking Italy here!), beautiful beaches, adorable cities, stunning hiking trails and the cutest animals (cows, goats, sheep, flamingos and wild pigs). We really did not want to leave after our week was over but I know we'll go back . . . hopefully sooner rather than later . . .

Day 1: Porto Cervo & Olbia

Day 2: Cala Fuili, Cala Gonone & Nuoro

Day 3: Santa Maria Navarrese & Pedra Longa
