Just in time for the weekend - here is the second instalment of cocktails from quarantine!
1. Apricot Fizz
Adapted from Craft Cocktails
2oz apricot puree or apricot jam (I used jam and it was perfect)
1.5oz vodka
0.5oz lemon juice
Shake in a cocktail shaker
Pour over ice
Top with 2-3oz soda water or ginger ale
2. J Cuddles
2oz gin
0.5oz lemon juice
0.5oz simple syrup
0.5oz cherry juice
1oz cherry liquor
1oz raspberry vodka
3oz rose hibiscus tea
Shake, serve over ice
Top with mint leaf
3. Whisky Sour
Adapted from Shaken: Drinking with James Bond
2oz whisky
0.75oz egg white
0.75oz lemon juice
0.75oz simple syrup
4. Rosehip and Hibiscus tea (a Jordan special)
Adapted from Craft Cocktails
3oz brewed rosehip and hibiscus tea
2oz gin
0.5oz lemon juice
0.5oz simple syrup
Tops with 1.5oz ginger ale
5. Hannah’s Post-yoga cocktail
1oz vodka
0.5oz lemon juice
0.75oz peach schnapps
1oz mango juice
1oz pineapple juice
Serve over ice
Top with ginger ale
6. Thanksgiving in a Glass
1.5oz whiskey
1.5oz salted caramel whiskey
2oz apple pie vodka
3oz apple cider
3oz ginger ale
Garnish with cinnamon stick
7. G is a Master
2oz Chambord
1.5oz cherry liquor
1.5oz raspberry vodka
1.5oz vodka
Top with sparkly wine (or bubbly water)
Garnish with maraschino cherries
8. Raspberry Old Cuban
Adapted from Let’s Get Fizzical
Muddle 3 raspberries, 6 mint leaves
Shake with:
1oz lime juice
1.5oz golden rum
Shake and strain into a glass
Top with Champagne
9. 66 Flights of Stairs
2oz whiskey
2oz salted caramel whiskey
1.5oz peach schnapps
Splash of lemon
Top with ginger ale
10. Kombucha Cocktail
1.5oz gin
1 bottle hibiscus rose kombucha from The St John’s Fermentary
Lots of ice
